Headsets
If you are on the phone all day, the difference between a headset that fits and one that does not is obvious within the hour. The right choice depends on the workplace, on the number of calls per day and on the telephony environment it has to work with.
What to consider
- Wired or wireless. Wired is simple and always charged; wireless gives you freedom to move around the desk or away from it.
- Background noise. In an open-plan office or contact centre, what matters is how well the microphone filters out your colleagues, and how much of that the caller still hears.
- One ear or two. If you also work with colleagues around you, you often want to keep one ear free.
- What it connects to. A desk phone, a softphone on a laptop and a mobile each place their own demands on the connection.
- Comfort over a long day. Weight, ear cushions and adjustability decide whether a headset is still comfortable after four hours.
What we do
We advise which headset suits your workplaces and your telephony environment, supply it, and make sure it works with the PBX, the softphone or the handset you use. If something breaks or the workplace changes, we are there to look at it with you.
